1. The sixth grade year has just flown by and it is summer. As it turns out, being a “scrub” in 6th grade was not as bad as Caiden Apollo thought it would be. He has become more interested in his appearance as a result of some compliments from a girl in his grade (relayed through another girl, of course!).
You support his interest by giving him extra chores so he can buy some cool clothes.
- As parents, we will support our child as long as it is in a good way. It is part of his socio-emotional development to become interested in his appearance and with that we will give him some chores for him to follow and give him a reward after so that he would not feel bad.
Even though it is still the middle of summer, you shop for school supplies and some cool school clothes. Caiden Apollo seems to be obsessed with looking cool when 7th grade starts in the fall.
